Brought to New York by a special event, a Black family from Detroit takes in the Guggenheim and Central Park and the look and feel of the architecture and signage of the city in the early 1960s. They film themselves enjoying cafes and restaurants, then attend an award event and banquet where members of the Black community are honored before heading west back to Michigan.
